Refractory Mortars
Refractory Mortars are finely ground preparation which becomes plastic and trowelable when mixed with water and is suitable for use in laying and bonding refractory bricks together.
Refractory mortars are specialized bonding agents used to join and seal refractory materials in high-temperature applications. They consist of refractory aggregates, fine powders, and a binding agent such as hydraulic cement or colloidal silica. These mortars provide durable, heat-resistant bonds between refractory bricks, blocks, or shapes, ensuring structural integrity and preventing the infiltration of hot gases and corrosive substances.
